We’re Loud Africa questionnaire

We’ve just completed our second trip to Kenya, and it was even more incredible than the first. In the two years since our last visit, we’ve kept in touch with the people we met the first time, which of course made our return visit a whole lot different. Instead of staying in a hotel, we were hosted by the family of a cool Kenyan kid who plays in a band (and is also a social justice activist, and an all-around cool guy). In 2022 we were those foreigners looking for a place in Africa to throw a festival. In 2024, we were back after having chosen Kenya for our next edition, so all the kids we met last time saw that we’re serious about making this happen — and they’re stoked! In Kenya there is a quite some excitement about We’re Loud Africa — and even gratitude. Folks already seem thankful for our efforts, which means a lot to us.

We have found some venues in Nairobi, and we have found some venues on the coast. We have mostly finalized the dates, modified slightly different from what we previously announced. We’ve looked at travel and accommodation options, and now we need information from YOU. We need to get an idea how many people are planning to come, and what everyone’s budget is — because the event in Kenya requires a bit of extra planning. It will definitely be better if we can plan some travel and accommodation together.
