Next stop for our We’re Loud Fest is Africa. That’s right — we’re organizing a festival in Kenya, and are bringing Detroit proto-punk legends DEATH (among others – lineup will be announced sometime in August). Besides that, we’re also bringing instruments to a children’s home on the Kenyan coast. Last year when we visited, we met Satan, who is the basketball coach and coordinates their music program. He has requested a drum set — we’re planning to bring a complete rock’n’roll backline.
