ACID BABY JESUS’ TRIUMPHANT COMEBACK IN ATHENS
ACID BABY JESUS roared back to life last night after what felt like a decade in hibernation, and it was one of their best performances we’ve seen. Not only did they dust off a whole stack of classics from their first LP, but they did so with a fresh approach and a groove that had us all simultaneously gyrating, and with little arm hairs standing tall. We have to hand it to the Athens crowd as well – we’ve seen ABJ play to folks in a lot of places around the world, but haven’t seen anyone show appreciation (while getting down) like last night. Special thanks to Patari Records for making it all happen. We’ll be doing our best to make some stuffs happen for ABJ elsewhere on Earth in 2025.
