BY TRAIN
Amtrak rolls through Reno
from Sacramento & Salt Lake.
There are only one or two trains per day,
but it drops you off right downtown,
a block from the RENO sign!
BY BUS
Lots of independent companies have "GAMBLER EXPRESS" deals.
Fer example, from
Sacto, round trip to Reno, pay $32.
They'll drop you off at the casino and give you $10 in quarters
and a $5 food credit! All included in the price.
Check around on the internet for deals from your town!

Of course Greyhound hits Reno from many directions, but
the chumps seem to have discontinued their "Lucky Streak" special...
unless you wanna go to Vegas. And why would ya?
BY PLANE
The airport is just a $8 cab ride from the venue, and
many hotels (including the Sands) offer free shuttles every
30 minutes or so. Southwest
and ExpressJet
are a couple of
so-called "low cost" carriers that land in Reno (though nothin'
is
cheap anymore). You should also try a search on
sidestep.com and skyscanner.net!
DRIVING
Just four hours from San Francisco!
(I can do it in three & a quarter)
Two hours from Sacramento!
Seven hours from Boise, Vegas, or the Salt Lake!

AROUND TOWN
Bring a bike, Reno's flat, and you'll be able to follow the
Rocktocycle around and see all of the ROCK'N'ROLL ADVENTURE KIDS'
set during the Sept 5 pre-party! Other than that, if you're staying in
the downtown area (where the Sands is) the club is
10 minutes or less by foot, or about a five-bucker cab ride!
To get around there's also a bus, check it here: rtcwashoe.com
